The Girl who Loves books

Hello, and Be welcome.

I welcome you to read the starting point of this Story.

The Story known as Second Chance.

Idrias was born small.

Well in her first years, she learned how to read with her father books. She learned how to write by herself, and with the age of five her father had to create a rule.

-- "You can only start reading a new book if you collect a new relic".

Easy, very easy, she lives in the Dukedom of Runah.

Tanahta is a world full of surprises, unique amongst the Alliance of Three Race for having no nobility of power and for keeping the commons with not much knowledge of what's really going on in the world of people of power.

It has a Great Continent, two small islands, which are Iceland, in the southwest, and Nissan, the land of the rising sun at the east, and then, Great Island. There are mountains dividing central and west areas of the Great Continent, the west of it is a desert.

Then, east side of the mountains, there is the Dukedom of Runah, ruled by a Dukess named Kathara, heir of the old ways.

It is said Kathara inherited the old techniques created by his family long ago.

The Dukedom is a very special place. During the war, Tanahta was bombed by an invisible fleet, which destroyed its echosystem creating a mix of alternated dimensions with all dimensions, so you can find half a castle or bridge, and a place water drops from the air. All the relics were moved during the terraforming done by the tyke -- reptilians.

And then, we have our Dukedom.

I'll have to hide most of my thoughts from you the reader, but know that I'm a storyteller who knows what's going on, specially because of my high position in politics.

Idrias is the daughter of a wirzard and a witch.

We never know, but we can assume she's also a witch like her mother, which is the case in 90% of times.

Her father tried to force her to do magic many times.

She doesn't produced a single effect.

To collect relics was not so easy as she initially thought, and her father analysed the artifacts she collected to see if she could start a new book.

Initially, she went no far away from home. The parallel streets were too far. Soon, she wanted to go farther, and one day she went to the other streets of her village. Idrias saw a dirt and poor man, and was affraid of him, but the man just smiled and went away. By the end of the day, she discovered The Water, and drunk it. It was at the woods, just after the bridge that takes to nowhere, but it was an artifact she couldn't carry home. She didn't imagined the fear she would feel when it suddenly became dark, and she felt fear, hungry and cold. By midnight, more or less, she decided to drink the water, and the hunger ended.

The artifact was a convex stone, and water drops from the air.

There were flying squirrels by that woods.

The following day, she went back home, waiting for her father to reprehend her, but it never happened.

Assa Ink, her father, listened to her story of what happened, and decided to tell her.

-- Idrias, I'll tell you the truth: I am a wizard.

-- Wh,... What do you mean, dady? -- she was a bit confused.

-- It's better if I show you -- and he took his wand from the pocket. Assa pointed to the table and said alloud: -- "Ergo!", and the table started to fluctuate. Then, he pointed the window and it closed. Apparently happy, he opened the window and landed the table.

-- Ah,... It's like in books,... Magic.

-- Exactly, Idrias -- he was happy -- I am a wizard, and your mother's a witch, so you are a witch too, only a witch would find There Where it is The Water, Magic guided you.

-- I'm a,.. I'm a witch? -- she suddenly understood.

-- Exactly, my girl -- said Assa, her father -- And from today on, I'll teach you everything you need to learn, but you have to accept studying. It's intentional. And when you get older, you'll know everything.

But Idrias never manifested Magic, by no means.

She's ten years old, now -- It's time to do something magical! She tried everything, but not even a single fire she could light on.

Then, her father died, leaving her with a strong sense of missing. She stoped reading. But well, one day she remembered her father had magic books, so she looked up on his old stuff to find a book with the answer for her missing feeling.

Idrias found a Ritual to be made to the God of Knowledge, Ammah, once a week, with a direct question.

She made the Ritual and asked: -- Is my father still with me? -- the answer was: "No", and she wanted to cry but no single tear droped, in depression until her mother get back from work.

-- Idrias,... -- said her mother.

-- I've made a Ritual -- her mother looked at the symbols, quickly, and understood what she have done.

-- The Ritual of Augury,... to Ammah,... What did you asked?

-- I asked if my father is still with me and the answer was "No",... I wanted it so much, that my father was with me to see,... I've made a Ritual,...

-- Oh, Idrias,... Look, this is the Ritual of Augury, and you have made a Ritual. It means you're a witch, and now you can access The School. Our school is here, and there. It's a secret, but you're going to start to see The School, hidden from the eyes of commons in plain sight, you're a witch, and you father would be proud of you.

-- What happens when a person dies?

-- This, nobody knows -- her mother almost cried, but decided to explain -- I know that when a person dies, the spirit must find a new Mission. If the spirit finds a new mission, then the spirit can be born again and be in the world. It's said that some spirits go The Horizon, which is a dimension, others are judged and go to Hell, or The Oblivion. You don't have to worry about your father. I'm sure he must be in a good place.

Idrias don't understood it promptly, but she was tired.

-- I want to go to bed -- she asked.

I had to stop writing, but I'll get back to it soon, don't worry.

Second Chance

Hello, and Be welcome.

Idrias is The Girl who Love books, but later I've changed the name to Tulja, and this is one thing very important, because we authors don't change a character's name by means of nothing, and yes, I'll get back the name Idrias and publish notes on this Story.

I was very tired by the time this Story started.

This way, I have not thought that a simple change of name wasn't good, please understand, I was suffering of sleep deprivation and took the wrong way.

But the Story rended a five months adventure, very good plot and characters, Otto-lá and Tetrus were also excelent twisters.

The Story was named The School of a Thousand Heirs, initially. But well, there was another name, Threat of Shadows, both meaning a lot.

I'll name this Story -- Threats and Oportunities -- Second Chance.

It was by this time the Enigma rule of Threats and Oportunities, and all situations are rended one of these two options.

I was playtesting a lot, my friends helped me into this.

I will share Playtest comments in here.

Initially, the Story were going to be set on a School, and characters would be students, but I now think this is not enough to render a Story.

I'm going to mix old notes with brand new ideas with these posts.

The first post will be exactly the same.

Then, I'll move on other ideas and rethink it all, since the three characters were Heroes, and not Players, so I'll have to create the Player characters.

(Edit) I'm sorting Settings, and Tanahta will be a Setting by the end of 2019.

One Player I know is The Duckess, but I have to think a lot and only time will tell who they'll be inside the Story.

The first chapter shows Idrias (Tulja) having an adventure. She's daughter of a wizard and a witch, but she never manifested Magic.

One day, she makes a Ritual to ask if her father, who passed away while sleeping, was still with her, and the answer was "No".

But well, she could do a Ritual, so she must be a witch.

Her mother's a kind and good person.

This is only the Starting point, and she must learn Magic! This is the Setting known as Tanahta, a world which suffered a space bombardment two thousand years ago, and people there know what "Hell" means.

Tanahta was terraformed with tyke technology.

The tyke, or reptilians, have a School at the hot Big Forest.

But the School of the Ducky of Ruins is better.

This is an ediche world, member of The Alliance of Three Races, together with the ikka and the sun chang.

They have their own language, but Oka from Akkoya is also known.

The home of diplomatic affairs with the reptilians.

I'll have more on this world in other posts.

Noble World of Toj -- circa 620 at

Hello, and Be welcome.

Toj is a world with too much stories to tell, but here we go.

It all starts at The Great War, that is The War against Pan The Satyr, and on the year of 60 of The Academy, the world was invaded by demons under the control of Pan, and they wanted to destroy the magic of this world.

Then, a group of nobles later named The Saint Group helped Ambar and Efemmera to destroy Pan, and take his Secret Weapon from him.

With the Secret Weapon, Ambar started to write the new era of freedom for ten thousand world. The galaxy of 5e was being freed from the judge of The Satyr, and Ambar became known in all ten thousand worlds as the Goddess who was giving them freedom and also a link between all of them, the social characteristic of people of power being nobles and common people being let off of the warfare state.

602 is the year when The Dreammaker formed a group to find the Stolen Dreams of the future world leaders.

Then, this is the year 620 of Toj, and we'll talk about it in here.

Ryklant is the centre of the world of Toj, being home to The Academy of Magic, Politics and Power, and it has a Patronus whose name is a secret, so he's named Tutýr (Tutor). The Tachipaddas is the central empire, with the capital of Samanta, The City of Temples, founded by Ayya, member of The Saint Group.

There's a huge thanks from everyone to the Goddess of Death, Efemmera, who created the opportunity for Pan's death.

It's the reason of the foundation of Efemmera Gi, the Tradition which studies Death and ressurection or, as the egyptians say, the Inferior World. It became known that Death herself founded the Tradition, and there is a prophecy for Death refounding the Tradition sometime in the future, when Rha is born again.

There's a number of Sanktums in this world, places where all religions can pray in peace.

Shaddes is the pearlklég city, or the city of clerics, that is warrior clergy trained to combat the forces of demons. One of them was a member of The Saint Group, Keogh.

The Supernatural Desert is considered the centre of the world, then Báech Islands is the only island port.

Báech Islands are said to create the best ships in the world, home of Ilena Báech, the princess, who became known by the Stolen Dreams recent events.

The Kastas are a caste society, living in the east continent by rules of dinasties.

The Islands of Monotatekoma Kei are home to the Rising Sun, a force of Traditions very well organized, known for discoverying the rule of princesses.

Well, not every world lives in peace all the time, and the monotheists of Tol Rim are very dangerous. They do not accept other religions to be real religions, and they think the many Gods are demons. They also work to destroy other religions, but they are the central foe of the necromancers, who attack them frequently.

Prislýpea is the land of desire and wishes, ruled by the imortal Raja Tweet, who was a member of The Saint Group.

The West is the Egypt, home to those who live in living castles.

The Black East is home to The Wizards of The East, who are now trying to create a school for magic users.

The Old North is home to the stonecasters, sorcerers who imbue magic in small flying stones.

The second big problem of Toj is known as The Shadow, ruled by necromancers who want to destroy the monotheist empire.

And the third problem is The Tower of Darkness, which Ambar has taken from reality, but Tacke, the most important professor of the Academy, is responsible for bringing it back. There lives a lich from an alternated reality, from which it is known The Source, a very powerful origin for undying life, and the Story begins when he is set free by the necromancers.

The necromancers want The Source and its power, but The Lich didn't gave what they wanted.

It is known that the necromancers who've set him free are dead.

And this is the world of Toj, circa 620 Academy, a world living a pre-war moment.

Everything can start a new war, and everyone knows it.

I invite you to start playing this world where people of power are nobles, and common people are let out of the warfare state.
