Tarja and The Girl in Veil

Hello, and Be welcome.

This chpater starts on a hot and present day, in the year of two thousand and seventeen, and we have the reference given by powerful entities, people who turn this date the best as a start. Present, past, or future. It depends, and it's complicated to explain.

What's important is that we need important people who define Time, so to let watchers with a date, which we'll call present in here. This is the beginning of the twenty-first century, and time has a huge number of challenges ahead.

Today, Teodoro is a common boy.

This, at least, is what his mother and father think he is, and he also believes in it.

He attends a common school, and has common habits.

His window at the second floor is in front of the window of a young and pretty woman, a brunette.

Everyday, they compete.

Don't make a cause of it -- they'd never talked to each other, but the woman is very happy to compete with him.

Her house is big, with a pool and a garden, two big trees, and three floor, in which the woman and her parents live in. She gets happy because he always listen to classic rock, and he's only about eleven! She listens to rock, industrial, and classic music. Teodoro had learnt already what is german industrial, for he has an app on his cell phone which identifies which music is playing, also givin the lyrics so you know what's the song meaning. They alternate the soundtrack there, healthy competing, and the music is their conversation.

Although, today she listened to a calm ambient song, but the neighbor didn't responded.

She went to the window to confirm he's sleeping, but in the place of his neighbor she sees a woman convered in clothes from top to down, sitting on his bed. She assumes the woman is her neighbor's age.

Then, the mother came to her son's bedroom, and put her hands on her head, like someone who sees Hell in front of her.

-- Oh, God,... What's happening?

The girl in veil moves a bit, but then they listened to her voice.

-- I doun't leyk remember'ing tha war. We Syr'ya's refugee, loust everyting.

The mother puts the hand on her own mouth, trying to disbelief. She sees the woman through the window. The woman stays by the window, but the mother gets out of the room to call the father.

There's not a reaction from the girl in veil, a young who don't know well the local language, there needing help, and the woman doesn't know what she should be doing.

-- What's happening here? -- asks the father.

-- Our son is gone, and now there's this girl in his place, and she says she's a refugee from Syria -- says the mother.

The father waits a little, before starting to question the girl.

-- Where's my son? -- he asks, waiting for an answer.

-- I ehm e refugee -- says the girl -- Much happy heva femily, please I nead help.

The mother goes to the window and shut it, like saying it's private.

Two days gone, then, and Tarja doesn't see the boy's, or the girl's, window opened again. She could forget the problem, but that night Tarja listens to a voice and a conversation at the neighbor's window, so she turns off the light and comes closer.

-- ,... and you'll need documents -- says the voice of a man.

-- Do you really think this girl is our son, but girl? Please, when you called, I didn't know how you came to know this, this is,... I don't know what it is. We -- the mother took the father's hand -- We just want to know what happened.

-- This is probably a supernatural transfiguration, and we are investigating -- says a severe voice of a man -- Know now that she's a responsability, and you cannot abandon her, then I'll suggest you adopt her.

Some moments of silence later, Tarja listened to the same severe voice.

-- We're investigating twenty thousand similar transfigurations, happening in our city and vicinity, with young persons and some adults too. We don't know yet what it is, but we're investigating several more cases of girls in veil.

-- You cannot say this to anyone -- says the voice of a man, they are two.

-- Well, you'll need to buy her documents, and we have contacts to produce a school story for her. I understand you're worried, I can say by your faces and voices, but we are paranormal investigators, and I can say I've seen things worse than this.

"Investigators? Many young persons and some adults,... What",...

-- The window neighbor saw her -- says the mother, giving Tarja no time to hide.

Suddenly, the curtains are gone and there's a serious man looking to her.

-- You'll help me to help you -- says him, in a clear tone of voice.

Tarja knows he'll ask to keep it a secret and doesn't say this to anyone, so she get ready to the talking.

-- Well,... -- says the man -- let me to introduce myself. I'm Lucius, and I'm an investigator. We are supernatural and paranormal investigators, and you saw what happened, but I have to ask you not to talk about it with any person.

-- And who would believe in it? -- she didn't try to disbelief, just said matter of factly.

-- I'm just being preventive -- said Lucius. Tarja thinks: "Now it's my only chance".

-- What if I want to know what's happening? I mean, if I want to help at the investigation? Don't frown at me! I'm an adult, and I know what I want, and what I want is to know what's happening.

-- Well,... We could do a test,... Could you come here? I mean, we'll make a test, so you can help me.

Two minutes later, Tarja enters the room where the neighbor lives.

-- Hello, neighbors -- she says, casually -- What kind of test you want me to do?

The serious man nodded, apparently thinking in what to say.

-- Here, take this -- and he'd given her a wand. She never imagined that, and frowned.

-- And what am I supposed to do? -- Tarja is feeling unconfortable.

-- You're going to manipulate the wand, and then, say a word: "Moolu", and point the wardrobe.

She did what he said, then suddenly the wardrobe was in fire! -- Ah! -- she said.

-- "Inkantanna Fuger!", cried the other man, with a wand on his right hand.

The fire's over, and Tarja opened her mouth knowing not what to say. There was a moment, in which Tarja thought about it, thinking: -- "Supernatural,... Paranormal investigation,... I think I've crossed the line. I've set fire at the wardrobe,... What?".

-- Well,... I have something to say to you: You're a witch -- she stoped, thinking -- What's your name?

-- Tarja -- she didn't believe it immediately -- I mean, Tarja Kenji. What do you mean?

-- You're a witch -- smiled Lagos -- "Moolu" only works with those who have aptitude.

-- I'm,... a witch? Aptitude, you say? And what does it mean, being a witch?

-- It means you'll have a new world to discover, and you can help me to investigate. We are wizards -- the other man was looking to the wand on her hand -- Please, give me my wand.

She handed the wand back to him, and she quickly started to think, this was the right moment.

-- Why don't you try "Moolu" with her? -- she looked the girl in veil -- I mean, my neighbor.

-- You,... are a genius -- said Lucius -- We should do that to every girl in veil -- he looked the other man, and they nodded -- We'll say every investigator to make the test with the girls. Starting right now,... -- he looked the girl in veil -- Now, you saw her trying "Moolu". We need you to do the same thing.

-- Naw? Rayht -- she took the wand, and said it -- "Moolu!" -- and the wardrobe opened -- What? What iz dis?

-- It means you're a witch -- said Tarja, firmly but calm -- What's your name, youth?

-- Alia -- she doesn't understood promptly, but then, with a boy's voice, she says -- Amazing,...

-- Tarja,... -- says the serious man -- You'll help me to help you. You're just a genius! What do you want to do, now?

-- Do I have to go to a school? -- the men stay put, with no answer -- What an absurd! Why a school does not exist?

-- No. We travel for the knowledge -- says the serious man -- We are hiding,... from mages. You'll understand everything with time. The mages rule society since the Middle Ages, a thousand years ago. We hide ourselves from them, because of the Inquisition.

-- It's an absurd a school do not exist! All societies have to decide how to pass knowledge to new generations.

-- Now, we're going to show you the villages, and there you'll find a wand -- the serious man is trying to give her what a witch would need, but it seems she's not a common witch.

-- And what? How do I find the villages? You'll have to say everything to me,... and to him -- she pointed the girl in veil with the head.

-- We need to explain how to enter attune state, that's the first step. But well, we cannot explain everything to a young witch or wizard.

-- Why not? What is there to hide? -- the man begins to understand that she's got questions, and it seems questions are many.

-- That's okay, then... First, you have to understand attune state. Without this, you wouldn't find the passages to the villages, and wouldn't find the teachers who can give you what you want,... and need. Magic is everywhere, you'll see. But it's just hiding from the eyes of the dumb.

-- Idiots, you say... I'll have to understand attune state, then -- she challenges.

Schools of Secrets

Hello, and Be welcome.

The Story started last week, named Schools of Secrets.

The first name chosen was Nephlimburgs, to deal with the Reality Islands, but I have to say the name will not be used anymore.

The Story starts with Rayki, at Ryklant, Akkoya, and he is an inspector investigator for The Academy of Magic, Politics and Power, when he receives The Black Files, he doesn't know who put on his desk at the Academy.

He, then, enter in contact with Raýla, a Player more important than himself.

But what happens next? I mean, the Story ended with three chapters published on my messy other Blog.

I have my notes on the Campaign, and I'll share these notes in here.

What's important is that we are playing a Campaign, and Rayki won't be the only character shown in the series, but the Story is going to be shown mostly by his point of view. Another point of view will be Tarja, also a Player, played by me.

I'll have to keep some secrets because the Story will be adapted into Novels, then I'll keep notes in here in order to remember exactly what and when, so I'll be able to adapt the Campaign, which is planned as a very long Story.

(Edit) Schools of Secrets is still being played by the end of 2019.

Then, I'm planning the Story as it goes, and using my Enigma Action Tales rule system, so one could tell it's a Playtest, but the system is already chosen.

The Rules will be published on my Wiki: www.actiontales.com.br

The Wiki will also provide information on Types, Concepts and Classes, and also notes on the Ordos (Factions), as the wizards, for example.

I've chosen the wizards as the main Ordos, during the Plays.

This was already chosen by 2008, when I've started writing the Novels, and they're going to go through difficulties, because the other Ordos, the mages, are well organized, but this all I'm going to publish on my site.

(Edit) I have published Book One by the end of 2019. Come read it! Be welcome to comment at Twitter.

The player who was playing Lucius stoped playing, so the Story started to be Rayki's, but then, the use of the d10 solved many problems of interaction and creative work, I'm really happy I've created the d10 Rules.

I'll get this all explained, but they depend on my Notes, I have in paper.

So, I'll have to check my Notes in order to publish in here.

This may affect the Novels, and I hope to show the Story played in a way the characters will interact with other Players, but I have something to say with the Novels, not only publishing a Story.

This is The Story of The Magic Nation, and you're welcome reading.

Now, I'll let place for other posts.

I hope you're enjoying the reading, and
