About Tachipaddas

This is a post on Setting.

Tachpaddas is the main central Empire in the world of Toj.

It's located at the centre of the Great Continent, sided by Abbas, the empire of immortals, the Nine Realms, which is an internal sea, and Mar do Peixe (Fish Sea), which is another internal sea.

This is the Empire of The Academy of Magic, Politics and Power, running at Ryklant.

Ryklant is a big city, home of the Academy, and of negotiators of many kinds.

The Academy's alies, as the Guild of Commerce for example, all have a house at this big city.

The Post has a number of Towers, in Ryklant, all keeps mantained by the Academy.

But what is the past of Tachipaddas? What happened in the past?

A thousand years before the Academy, the queen Tachi the Wiet from the Old Empire declared war against the Mummy King, from the territory now known as Abbas. Tachi revealed to be much powerful. Her Magic was enogh to end the Empire of the Mummy King, but then, her people was in fact cursed.

They started to need The Drew from the plane of The Source to live.

So, they migrated to The Source, and lived there for a thousand years.

The Saint Group found The Wiet Tower, the Chrystal which opened the passage from The Source, and they went to the ruins of The Old Empire to bring back The Wiet People.

There, it's known that Ayya meets Teogh for the first time.

Teogh was a member of the royalty of Tachipaddas, who decended directly from the queen.

He and his horsemen were in control of this region's nature and creatures.

Then, the Saint Group's bring back the spirit of Tachi, who gave name to the region.

Tachipaddas was then a horsemen's territory, but Teogh founded Ryklant, while Ayya founded Samantha, the city of temples.

They had eight children, seven dukes and one princess, mother of Ayasta.

Then, the War against Pan The Satyr started, and only Ambar the Goddess of Magic could save everyone.

The Fish Sea was created when Pan attacked Efemmera the Goddess of Death, and killed her. Ambar took his Secret Weapon and started to define the history of a ten thousand worlds, The Empire of Pan. Efemmera got back, as one of the first things Ambar did with the Secret Weapon.

This is the legend of Tachipaddas, today ruled by Ayya, an elfic princess and a warrior.

The Empire is guided by the spirit of Tachi the Wiet.

Báech Islands resume

This is about Setting.

Hello, and Be welcome.

The Setting presented on the first two Chapters of this Story, Stolen Dreams and Báech Islands, is a mythic set where all People of Power are nobles.

I first presented The Dream, and The Dream Lord. Later, I adapted this as the figure of a boy (even if it's a girl, in some worlds), with shaved head and silver little balls as eyebrows.

The Dream Lord, or Dreammaker, invited the group to gather at his palace, The Tower of Ivory.

I first thought of The Tower of Ivory as a critic to what people expect from their dreams, the comfort zone, but with no intention of negative meaning.

The Entrance has a little lake, made of Mist (element).

The characters gather around the Dreammaker as he became a Patron to the group, but he knows he formed one of the most powerful groups of Toj.

Toj is the ediche world, but Treiyka is the tyke colonie, and Kalagot is a bigger world in which the fae live, these three are the Trikumai.

Báech the Djine is a wanderer, the princess Ilena Báech is the second heir of Báech Islands, Tacke Prýmmus is an immortal elf professor, together with his wife, Jael, and family, a daughter and twins, but his daughter is Alenda, an important character later revealed, but there are also Hadesh, who is a tyke reptilian from Treiyka, and Tòrian the bronze mage.

This is the main group, and later Flausin the bogling became also a member of the group, who is a follower of Efemmera, the Goddess of Death.

At Báech Islands, Hadesh discovered Ilena's father under control of a Black Magic spell, and he decides to help her.

It must be said Hadesh's lost his memories for a moment, and he almost attacked the group. He also said he was the white dragon.

Actually, Hadesh is a tyke beast, with another form with wings.

He was interested in The Bag, given by the Ke, the sacerdot of dreams.

This Bag was a relic, able to keep many things inside of it.

The group came to the Báech artificer's office, and they put everything in the Bag of Things.

They call "Chaos!", which's the form of a blond girl, when Tacke was chosen to go and get back Hadesh'es memories, but then, a transparent woman came to dispel her. She went away, after doing the dispel.

The Story goes, and Flausin invites the group to stay by his village. It's a bogling village, where they could stay, and the, be safe.

Hadesh asks the Dreammaker (this is not on the original version) if the place is safe, and he says it's in fact one of three villages from the old Tower of Darkness, which vanished during the war against the first Mummy King.

The Dreammaker says he thinks it's a safe place.

It's revealed Tacke has a very important power, Sense of Danger. He senses Hadesh is in danger, and talks to Tòrian, calling for help.

When in Báech Islands, Hadesh got a White Book, and a White Wand.

He was trying to understand how to use 'em.

The group of three gathers -- Tòrian, Hadesh and Tacke.

They go to Tòrian's castle, but Hadesh enters frenzy, and a defense group appears. Tòrian orders this group not to kill his friend -- "He's a tyke beast!" -- "I know! Don't kill him, Rude!", and Hadesh got back to himself.

The Báech artificer became Tòrian's butler.

Tòrian reveals everyone does Black Magic, to Tacke.

They gathers at The Dream, Hadesh still trying to understand how to use the White Book, but then, they needed to use a Negation Spell, and the Book revealed itself.

-- Submit yourself to me! -- said Hadesh.

And the Book, which is obviously a Dark Grimoire, closed.

Hadesh took control of the Book, and becomes his Master.

Thi all happened on the second Chapter.

I mean, I've cuted all the dialogue and went to a resume of what happened. This is the format I've chosen to write about what happened during the Story, and will be the format I'll use in all posts for the several posts about the Story, Stolen Dreams, and others. I know, this is not a book, and this is actually a resume.

I hope to get to the Story later, when it's published in Portuguese on my site. It may take a long time to get a final version, but it's necessary because the original's a mess.

Remember they are People of Power, then, they are nobles.

Except for Hadesh, who dislikes this, they all are elite.

This is all for this post, but I'll have comments on it later to publish here at the blog.

I'll try to explain better the origin of these noble characters later.

Thanks for reading, and I'll wait for the comments at Twitter.

Stay Plugged, Stay True.

Stolen Dreams

About Stolen Dreams

This was the first 2 days Session for the Stolen Dreams Campaign.

We decided characters, and the Setting, which would be the world of Toj (it means World) and that the Campaign would be following the Toj Campaign we used other game system, but we had to stop the Story because at 18th level it became a medieval super hero Story.

The Setting is Toj, most specifically the Story would run in Tachipaddas, the Samantha and Ryklant empire.

Ryklant is the capital for the Academy of Magic, Politics and Power.

The Story is to be told by a Storyteller known as wizard professor Susking Kuoi, 103, from Akkoya, the future of Toj.

It starts at the year 602 Ak, but I used AGC by this time -- After the Great Change -- and not Ak, from Akatemy. But now, years later, some of the names used in this Campaign will have to go under change.

I'm working now on a revised version, to be published in Portuguese first.

I already have some of the Players, names and personalities, wishes and intentions, but I don't have all the Players chosen. This means I'll have to work on this, with the intention of publishing.

The Trikumai Worlds are: Toj, Kalagot and Treiyka -- They move around each other, orbiting the bigger one, Kalagot.

The passage through each one are done by the Gods creating a passage, or by natural airways up the skies. This way, the Post, one of the most trusted groups on the Trikumai Worlds, have the secrets of moving from world to world.

One of the most important things of Toj is that people of power are Nobles.

This way, a wizard, which has the inborn ability to make Magic, is always a noble, but those who are not may become nobles by the study of Magic, namely Sorcerers, Mages, Sacerdots and Shamans.

Becoming a monk also makes you a noble, because monks make Vows in exchange of Power.

Psionics are always nobles, but they are very few and yet have not a school.

Teh first Campaign -- Toj -- created the past of this Story. Specially characters like Ayya, Krunnki and Baltyr, a group named The Saint Group, 550 years before, during the Great War against Pan The Satyr.

It is said Pan controlled ten thousand Worlds. He was attracted to Toj by both the Goddess of Magic and the Goddess of Death, Ambar and Efemmera, into a trap to put their hands on Pan's secret Weapon -- it was Trisebus, a low caste demon, who killed Pan, inspired by Efemmera.

More I will tell on other posts about this Story and the Trikumai worlds.

The Characters -- starting point, Stolen Dreams

# Tòrian, ediche, noble (Deputy), mage, elementalist
# Tacke, mage, Professor (Academy of Magic), specialist professor
# Ilena Báech, ediche princess of Báech Islands, psionic
# Báech, ediche djine, a wanderer, a bon vivant, and a wishmaster
# Hadesh, tyke beast, monk, and also a doctor

They became a group during the Story, one of the five most important groups in Toj, and they were guided by the Dreammaker, who asked them to retrieve the Stolen Dreams of the future world leaders.

This is a long journey, so I'll leave more to other posts.

My personal notes on this Story says to me this is a very good point to start with.

I'll have things to publish in here for a long time.

Stay pugged, Stay True.

Thanks for reading.
