This is about Setting.
Hello, and Be welcome.
The Setting presented on the first two Chapters of this Story, Stolen Dreams and Báech Islands, is a mythic set where all People of Power are nobles.
I first presented The Dream, and The Dream Lord. Later, I adapted this as the figure of a boy (even if it's a girl, in some worlds), with shaved head and silver little balls as eyebrows.
The Dream Lord, or Dreammaker, invited the group to gather at his palace, The Tower of Ivory.
I first thought of The Tower of Ivory as a critic to what people expect from their dreams, the comfort zone, but with no intention of negative meaning.
The Entrance has a little lake, made of Mist (element).
The characters gather around the Dreammaker as he became a Patron to the group, but he knows he formed one of the most powerful groups of Toj.
Toj is the ediche world, but Treiyka is the tyke colonie, and Kalagot is a bigger world in which the fae live, these three are the Trikumai.
Báech the Djine is a wanderer, the princess Ilena Báech is the second heir of Báech Islands, Tacke Prýmmus is an immortal elf professor, together with his wife, Jael, and family, a daughter and twins, but his daughter is Alenda, an important character later revealed, but there are also Hadesh, who is a tyke reptilian from Treiyka, and Tòrian the bronze mage.
This is the main group, and later Flausin the bogling became also a member of the group, who is a follower of Efemmera, the Goddess of Death.
At Báech Islands, Hadesh discovered Ilena's father under control of a Black Magic spell, and he decides to help her.
It must be said Hadesh's lost his memories for a moment, and he almost attacked the group. He also said he was the white dragon.
Actually, Hadesh is a tyke beast, with another form with wings.
He was interested in The Bag, given by the Ke, the sacerdot of dreams.
This Bag was a relic, able to keep many things inside of it.
The group came to the Báech artificer's office, and they put everything in the Bag of Things.
They call "Chaos!", which's the form of a blond girl, when Tacke was chosen to go and get back Hadesh'es memories, but then, a transparent woman came to dispel her. She went away, after doing the dispel.
The Story goes, and Flausin invites the group to stay by his village. It's a bogling village, where they could stay, and the, be safe.
Hadesh asks the Dreammaker (this is not on the original version) if the place is safe, and he says it's in fact one of three villages from the old Tower of Darkness, which vanished during the war against the first Mummy King.
The Dreammaker says he thinks it's a safe place.
It's revealed Tacke has a very important power, Sense of Danger. He senses Hadesh is in danger, and talks to Tòrian, calling for help.
When in Báech Islands, Hadesh got a White Book, and a White Wand.
He was trying to understand how to use 'em.
The group of three gathers -- Tòrian, Hadesh and Tacke.
They go to Tòrian's castle, but Hadesh enters frenzy, and a defense group appears. Tòrian orders this group not to kill his friend -- "He's a tyke beast!" -- "I know! Don't kill him, Rude!", and Hadesh got back to himself.
The Báech artificer became Tòrian's butler.
Tòrian reveals everyone does Black Magic, to Tacke.
They gathers at The Dream, Hadesh still trying to understand how to use the White Book, but then, they needed to use a Negation Spell, and the Book revealed itself.
-- Submit yourself to me! -- said Hadesh.
And the Book, which is obviously a Dark Grimoire, closed.
Hadesh took control of the Book, and becomes his Master.
Thi all happened on the second Chapter.
I mean, I've cuted all the dialogue and went to a resume of what happened. This is the format I've chosen to write about what happened during the Story, and will be the format I'll use in all posts for the several posts about the Story, Stolen Dreams, and others. I know, this is not a book, and this is actually a resume.
I hope to get to the Story later, when it's published in Portuguese on my site. It may take a long time to get a final version, but it's necessary because the original's a mess.
Remember they are People of Power, then, they are nobles.
Except for Hadesh, who dislikes this, they all are elite.
This is all for this post, but I'll have comments on it later to publish here at the blog.
I'll try to explain better the origin of these noble characters later.
Thanks for reading, and I'll wait for the comments at Twitter.
Stay Plugged, Stay True.
